FDT Trainee

Leah Milstead, born in the Jiangxi province of China, traveled to the U.S. with her family at eleven months of age.  At age three, Leah was fortunate to attend a field trip to observe the Florida Dance Theatre company dancers rehearsing for their upcoming Nutcracker performance.  That December, she and her sister were delighted with The Nutcracker performed by FDT at the Polk Theatre specially scheduled for school children. She was hooked after her first pre-ballet class at FDT the following February.  Leah is excited and honored to train alongside the professional company dancers. ​
