Second Auditions for summer dance intensives

If you missed the first round of auditions for our Summer Dance Intensive sessions, here is your chance to get in. 

When: Saturday April 9th from 12 PM to 1:30 PM.
Where: Florida Dance Theatre Studio located at 305 West Main Street, Lakeland, FL, 33815.

Both the Junior and Senior applicants will be auditioning during the same time frame of 12 PM to 1:30 PM. 


​Summer Intensive Dates
Program Dates: June 6th- June 25th

Senior Intensive: June 6-25, Monday -Friday from 9am-5pm & Saturday 10a-3pm
Junior Intensive: June 13-25, Monday- Friday from 9am -3pm

What to wear for Audition:
Ladies, black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes hair in a bun/secured out of face
Gentlemen, form fitted t-shirt, black tights, black ballet shoes

• In-person audition is highly recommended especially for students that have not had previous training and are wanting to be consider for the program.
• If students are unable to attend in-person, an audition video will be acceptable. Audition video must include:
• Barre work (One side only)- Tendu, degage, rond de jambe, frappe, fondu, grand battement
• Center floor work: Adagio, pirouette combination, petit and grand allegro.
• Pointe work: Echappe, releve in arabesque, pirouettes.
• Room and Board will be provided for any student of the Senior Intensive who may require it. Cost of room and board will be $1,500 for all three weeks. This fee is in addition to the summer program tuition and would be adjusted to the number of weeks the student will be attending. Audition results will be provided via email within two weeks of the audition. Once accepted, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the tuition is required by March 25th to secure the student's position within the program. All remaining program fees, including room & board are due no later than May 27, 2022.
